| Ulica Przyrynek 6 | | Nowe Miasto | One of the oldest temples in Warsaw. Built after 1411 in a Gothic style, originally it had one nave, was made of bricks, had a ceiling and an arch presbytery, before the end of the XV century it was transformed into a three nave basilica. In 1581 a late Gothic belfry was founded. Later the church was rebuilt a number of times. In 1939 it was damaged, in 1944 it was burnt. The church was reconstructed in 1947 - 1966 to the design by Beata Trylińska. Its characteristic silhouette is a part of the old Warsaw New Town.
From the scenic point in the church’s neighbourhood there is a magnificent view on the Vistula river valley and on the Praga district of Warsaw.
